College Stuff
I left care work in September 1996 to follow my aspirations of being a graphic designer. This journey would start at Newcastle College where I was accepted on the ONC in graphic design. It was a two year course that had many highs and lows. It pushed me to my limits and at other times, I couldn't get enough - I didn't believe some of the stuff that came from my own hands was in me.
A number of the projects were created on the Mac and therefore I have been able to replicate them on this site for you to see. Other stuff is zipped away in a portfolio. One day I'll photograph these and add them. For now though there are two sections. One section is my end of course Eclipse Chocolates project, the other is bits and pieces from stuff I did over the course of two years. I was chuffed to leave with a distinction and the chance to do an HNC. But I didn't return to graphic design, I went back to care work. Bloody confidence let me down again.
