Many of the locations I've been to have proved quite interesting from a photographic perspective even if they lacked paranormal activity. Some historic locations were a joy to explore especially places like castles that have witnessed hundreds of years of war and peace and everything in between. When I start to imagine what used to take place on the now desolate grounds it's amazing to think that communities lived and died in these cold and empty ruins.

You'll find that there are a number of other locations here that are quite unique and worth a visit. One variety of location that I'll recommend are the Scottish Kirkyards (cemeteries). I've never seen such an interesting and diverse collection of unusual graves, vaults and mausoleums.

There is a certain something about old buildings in a state of ruin or disrepair. This doesn't necessarily have a direct influence on paranormal activity, but it interests me how visual appearances of buildings creates a psychological assumption of what you could or should expect.

I hope you'll feel inspired to visit some of these places and while you're there, that you get as much activity as I would have liked!
