My dad made me a wooden train set when I was very young, possibly around 3 or 4, I'm not sure. Anyway, it was a great little set that he slaved over while working in the ship yards. It served a second purpose by converting into roller-skates, well two of the three carriages did.

When I got up this morning the sun was shining and it seemed appropriate weather for a day out. As usual on getting ready the clouds came over and a chill set in. But my mind had been made up and I was determined for my son and I to have a good day out.
The first idea of getting a train somewhere fell through as the next one was hours away. So the next stop was kids days out website. Again nothing

Now that I'm hitting 40 this year, call it a midlife crises if you like, I've began to look back over my life and realised how much of it is a blur or just simply forgotten. I came across a school photo on facebook and I was transported back but trying to put names to faces was too hard. Well most faces, some I remembered straight away, others came, some just first names and others completely gone

Well I set up a googlemail account. I dunno why, I suppose because other people have them and while my name existed, I thought I'd better jump on it. But annoyed at the same time that the name I wanted to use was gone, but such is life.

I've been hacking away for a while on www.LeeFoster.co.uk and finally it is live and ready to view. It's going to be one of those projects that grows and improves over time. It not only captures me and my interests going back to my beginnings, but what inspires and frustrates me now and in the future.
