So, where do I begin?

Well, my name is Gary Brewerton, I'm 35 and come from Goring-on-Thames. I currently live in a small town called South Shields which is in the north east of England.

I recently took up painting at the end of last year, December 2000. My other interests are reading true life crime books and anything to do with Marilyn Monroe. My initial interest in painting began with oils, but found that water colours were more interesting to use after being inspired by the TV programme, Water Colour Challenge.

The lakes and mountainous landscapes are my favourite subject and I enjoy walking and camping in the fells.

I work for social services as a carer and enjoy working with people with learning disabilities.
