Welcome to Poetry Site. This site brings together 15 poems from a selection of many I wrote about 6 years ago. The purpose of this site is to expose some of my material to the world as they've never been seen before outside of a few unlucky family members.
Now I don't think for a minute that I'm the new Roger McGough, Ted Hughes or even Milton, but I would like to think my poems stand on their own merit.
Some people believe that poems should rhyme. I don't. So please don't use my 'Get in touch' page to complain that some of my poems don't rhyme. Do though, use it to offer constructive criticisms and send me your stuff.
I've included some links on the Links page to sites which offer some good and some bad poetry. But I would prefer it if you browsed my site first before you shoot off somewhere else!
